it’s pregnancy and infant loss remembrance day…

and while there seems to be a “day” for everything, this one does mean something to me.  i remember when my oldest (and then only) child was about one year old, my aunt told me i should have a half dozen because he was so cute.  you know what?  i did have a half dozen, but only got to keep four.  not everyone knows and that’s okay.  i know i’ll hold them in heaven and i look forward to it.

  1. Susan, I am so sorry for your loss! My mom has a precious one in heaven, too (8 months stillborn). She mourns the baby’s loss every “birthday” for him.

    Hugs!

  3. It hit me this morning. Strange how sometimes I will just start thinking about my other four babies. They would be 17, 15, 13 and 12. When my oldest(16yo now) was too young to know he would tell me that I should have six babies. It was quite sometime before he learned about all the miscarriages. I got to keep two of the six. {{{hugs}}}
